Exciting times on the farm this month! We welcome visitors for an Open House event on Saturday, August 20, 2011, 11am-4pm. Come visit for an hour or stay all afternoon.
A special focus at the Open House, Barb's Play & Learn Center will be open for tours and demonstrations. Bring your little ones, as they are welcome to get hands-on with all that we have to offer including riding toys, games, puzzles, crafts, and playground toys. Children at Barb's Play & Learn Center are treated to interactive play indoors and out - year round. Farm fresh snacks and meals are served each day. Age appropriate learning activities, daily walks, socialized play time offered at Barb's are great building blocks for your little ones. The Open House allows you to spend time at Barb's as the children do.
While child care is the mainstay at Purdy Neat Place, farming is a strong compliment to our efforts. We are a first generation farm located in Lockport, NY. We use sustainable farm methods to raise a variety of fresh food products including grass fed Highland beef, free-range chicken, turkeys and eggs. Visitors at the Open House are welcome to tour the grounds, hand feed the animals, gather eggs and learn more about this local working farm.
Our mission is simple - we offer homegrown goodness to friends and neighbors. Our Western New York community of Lockport has a rich agricultural history. Purdy Neat Place farm aims to preserve that rich history, while providing products and services that are relevant to today's family.

Meet the Farm Purdy Neat Place is home to many creatures.We are caretakers to dogs, cats, beef cattle, goats, sheep, horses, fish, chickens, ducks, turkeys and the many more.Some stay longer than others, but each is treated with love and respect during their stay on the farm.
Marketplace We sell direct from the farm several farm fresh products.Fresh eggs are available nearly year round, with beef and poultry products offered seasonally.
Bolognese Puppies We are in love with this breed and you will be too.Meticulously bred to preserve only the best traits, we are placing dozens of our furry friends in homes around the globe.
Child Care The playful sounds of little feet and voices can be heard each weekday coming from our licensed group family day care center located at Purdy Neat Place.Since 1996, we have cared for dozens of children from 8 weeks – school age.
